FSA has definitely done their homework on ergonomics. I am using these with Campy 11s levers and the transition from hood to the top of the bars is seamless-I REALLY like this aspect of the bar. The flat section on the tops is nice, but it makes it a little tricky to get the tilt angle just right-if you tilt it too far up with the bar ends at an angle, it puts your wrists in an awkward position tilt it completely level and the drops feel a little cramped.hard to explain, but just takes a little fiddling to get perfect. While riding and moving from the hoods to the forward-sweeping flats, the amount of rotation in the hands is quite substantial, and after prolonged use I found it quite uncomfortable. The Wing Pro Compact gives you a nice flat surface behind the hoods, while allowing the bottoms of the drops to remain horizontal. That makes them quite long, and longer than most other similar handlebars if you are changing from a bar with shorter reach, this will have a small effect on handling.
